National Hospital Informs Court Shiranthi Rajapaksa Requires Bypass Surgery

COLOMBO(News 1st): The Colombo National Hospital has informed the court that Shiranthi Rajapaksa, the wife of former President Mahinda Rajapaksa, requires a bypass surgery.

Colombo Chief Magistrate Asanga S. Bodaragama made this announcement while disclosing the contents of a medical report that had been ordered to be presented to the court today.

Shiranthi Rajapaksa is currently in remand custody, over allegations of misappropriating public funds through the Siriliya Saviya account.
