More Than 1,600 New Court Clerks to Be Recruited

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Judicial Service Commission has announced plans to recruit more than 1,600 court clerks as part of a major effort to address staff shortages across Sri Lanka's judicial system.

According to the Commission, the open competitive examination for the recruitment process is scheduled to be held tomorrow at 14 examination centres established in schools in Colombo.

Officials stated that candidates for the vacant positions will be selected through both open and limited competitive examinations.

The Judicial Service Commission said approval has been granted by the Ministry of Finance to fill a total of 2,646 vacancies currently existing in courts islandwide.
