New Online Appointment System for Driving Licence Medical Exams From Tomorrow

COLOMBO (News1st);Steps have been taken to introduce a new digital system for issuing medical certificates required for obtaining driving licenses.

Professor Clifford Perera, Chairman of the National Transport Medical Institute, stated that this system will come into effect tomorrow.

Through this new method, individuals can reserve appointments for medical examinations via any telephone network.

The Chairman also stated that no fee will be charged for reserving the date and time.

He added that measures will be taken in the future to increase the number of appointment slots available through this system.
