Dengue Cases Surge To 76,044; Death Toll Rises To 53

COLOMBO (News 1st): The number of dengue patients reported so far this year has increased to 76,044.
The Gampaha and Colombo districts continue to report the highest number of patients.
The unit stated that 20,666 dengue patients have been reported in the country during just the first 19 days of this month.
The number of dengue deaths reported so far is 53.
The National Dengue Control Unit mentioned that 162 Medical Officer of Health (MOH) divisions across the island have been further designated as high-risk dengue zones.
