Commander of the Navy calls on Secretary to the President

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Damian Fernando called on the Secretary to the President of Sri Lanka is Dr. Nandika Sanath Kumanayake at the Presidential Secretariat today, 20 July 2026.

During the cordial meeting, they exchanged views on the Navy's role in national priorities and maritime security matters.

Marking the importance of the occasion, the Commander of the Navy presented a memento to the Secretary to the President.
