Third Arrest Made in Galle Drive-By Killing Case

COLOMBO (News 1st); A suspect accused of aiding and abetting a fatal shooting in the Dangedara area of Galle has been taken into custody, police confirmed.

The arrested individual, a 31-year-old resident of Alawwa, is believed to have provided assistance in the crime, which has sparked an ongoing investigation.

Authorities stated that two other suspects linked to the incident had already been arrested prior to this development.

According to police, the shooting took place on the 12th of this month when assailants arrived at the scene in a car and opened fire, resulting in the victim’s death.
