Cabinet Approves Appointment of New Director General of Customs

COLOMBO (News 1st): Cabinet approval has been granted to appoint Wimal S.K. Liyanagama as the new Director General of Sri Lanka Customs.
The tenure of the current Director General of Sri Lanka Customs Seevali Arukgoda is set to conclude today.
Wimal S.K. Liyanagama is a Special Grade officer of the Sri Lanka Administrative Service.
The proposal, submitted by the President, has been approved by the Cabinet and will take effect from tomorrow.
