University Entrance Handbook to be Released at Midnight Tonight

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The University Grants Commission (UGC) has announced that the handbook for university admissions will be released at midnight today.

This follows the release of the 2025 Advanced Level (A/L) results, providing the necessary guidelines for students to apply for state university entrance.

176,527 students who sat for 2025 GCE A/L's have been eligible for university entrance. 

281,810 candidates faced the GCE Advanced Level Examination in 2025.
