COLOMBO (News 1st): Attorney-at-Law Thamara Abeyratne, who was produced before the court after being taken into custody over allegations of aiding and abetting in the Ganemulla Sanjeewa murder case, has been remanded until May 7th.
The order was issued by the Colombo Chief Magistrate’s Court.
Police stated that Thamara Abeyratne was being interrogated on suspicion of assisting suspects, including shooter Commando Salintha and Ishara Sewwandi, who had allegedly appeared at the Colombo Magistrate’s Court disguised as lawyers in connection with the murder.
