All state institutions to remain open until April 17

COLOMBO (News 1st): The Ministry of Public Administration, Provincial Councils, and Local Government has announced that all state institutions and offices will remain open as usual from today until the 17th of April.

Previously, there were plans to conduct government duties through an online system during these three days as a measure to conserve energy.

However, the Ministry stated that the decision to keep state offices open for regular operations was made with the aim of efficiently meeting the needs of the public.
