Key Figure Linked To major drug trafficker Arrested In Wennapuwa

COLOMBO (News 1st): A suspected associate of a major drug trafficker operating in the country was arrested in Dummaladeniya, Wennappuwa.
Police say that narcotics with an estimated street value of Rs. 7.5 million was also seized from the suspect at the time of arrest.
The arrest was carried out by officers of the Walana Central Anti-Corruption Unit.
Further investigations are underway.
