Trump Says Iran 'Paying a Big Price'

COLOMBO (News 1st);  U.S. President Donald Trump says the situation involving Iran is “moving along very rapidly,” calling current developments positive while emphasizing the strength of the U.S. military.

Speaking about ongoing actions related to Iran, Trump said the situation is “doing very well,” asserting that the U.S. military is “unsurpassed” and unlike anything “nobody’s ever seen.”

“We’re doing what has to be done,” he said, adding that the steps being taken “should have been done during a 47-year period” and could have been handled by “a lot of different people” who, he argued, chose not to act.

Trump described Iran as “a nation of terror and hate,” claiming the country is now “paying a big price.”
