COLOMBO (News 1st): Deputy Minister of Fisheries Rathna Gamage says the government is pursuing a neutral foreign policy while adhering to international conventions.
He emphasized that all government actions are guided by humanity, and stressed the importance of this approach for a nation like Sri Lanka.
The Deputy Minister said recent events have shown the world that Sri Lanka has conducted itself responsibly, without violating any international agreements or acting in an inhumane manner.
He added that the government’s conduct can be described as exemplary, combining a correct foreign policy with respect for international conventions and humanitarian principles.
