COLOMBO (News 1st): The Export Development Board states that several potential issues within the country's export sector have been identified in light of the emerging situation in the Middle East.
The Board Chairman, Mangala Wijesinghe, noted that attention has been drawn to issues that may arise regarding buyers of goods including tea, bank payments (LC settlements), shipping insurance premiums, and re-export centers.
He explained these matters during a telephone conversation with Newsfirst’s Nipuna Vijayabandara.
