Parliament to Convene from March 3-6

COLOMBO (News 1st); Secretary General of Parliament Kushani Rohanadeera announced that Parliament will convene from March 3 to 6. 

The decision was taken at a meeting of the Parliamentary Affairs Committee held on the 18th February under the chairmanship of Speaker Dr. Jagath Wickramaratne.

Accordingly, the second reading debate on the Microfinance and Credit Regulatory Authority Bill is scheduled for March 4.

An adjournment debate will be held on March 5 in observance of International Women’s Day.
