New Plans Underway to Protect Ecosystem In Muthurajawela Wetlands

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Minister of Environment, Dr. Dammika Patabendi, says the ministry has decided to formulate a new mechanism for the re-management of the Muthurajawela wetlands.

The Minister said that a discussion is scheduled to be held with all relevant state institutions to determine how to manage the area effectively without causing harm to its sensitive ecosystem.
