Voluntary Drug Rehabilitation Program Sees Success, Says Ministry of Public Security

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The Ministry of Public Security says that the voluntary rehabilitation program for individuals struggling with drug addiction has shown massive success. 

In a discussion with Newsfirst, Colonel Channa Gomez, Assistant Commissioner of the Bureau of Rehabilitation, said that The first group of participants in the program has already successfully completed their rehabilitation period and returned home.

Colonel Channa Gomez said that Voluntary Enrollment is open to any individual wishing to break free from drug addiction.
