Ten Indian Fishermen Detained for Illegal Fishing near Delft Island

COLOMBO (News 1st): The Sri Lanka Navy has intercepted and detained ten Indian fishermen for poaching in the Northern waters off the Delft Island.
Sri Lanka Navy has also seized the fishing vessel,during the operation.
The apprehended individuals and their vessel will be handed over to the Department of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources for formal legal proceedings.
