75 Additional Rural Roads Slated for Development Under Second Phase of RDA Project

COLOMBO (News1st): The Road Development Authority (RDA) announced plans to develop 75 additional roads under the second phase of the Rural Road Development Project.

As part of 'the Path to Renaissance' program, the project aims to improve living standards in rural areas by expanding public transport facilities and raod connectivity.

Wimal Kandambi, RDA Director General says that the project is set to commence within a month. 

A budget of Rs.6 Bn has been allocated for the second phase, and is expected to be completed within a period of three to six months.
