First Term Phase One Ends Today In Schools

COLOMBO(News 1st); The first phase of the first school term in government and government-approved private schools ended today. 

The second phase of the term will begin on the 21st.

Advanced Level Examination subjects that were postponed due to the disaster will be held from the 12th to the 20th at 2,086 exam centers across the country. 

The Examinations Department said students who lost their National Identity Cards due to the disaster can sit the exams using a temporary ID certified by the principal, while private candidates can use one certified by the Divisional Secretary.
