Pinnacle Awards 2025: News 1st And Sirasa TV Win Multiple Awards

COLOMBO(News 1st); The People’s Pinnacle Awards 2025 main ceremony was held in Colombo yesterday

The awards ceremony, organized by MUGP Institutions, was held for the fourth time this year.

Outstanding individuals from various fields across the country were recognized at this year’s People’s Pinnacle Awards.

News 1st and Sirasa TV received several awards at the ceremony.

Most Popular Television Host of the Year: Omaya Kovilagodage of Sirasa TV

Most Popular Television News Anchor of the Year: Vindana Prasad Karunarathne of Sirasa TV

Best Volunteer Service Program of the Year: Gammadda

Best Motor Television Program of the Year: AutoVision of Sirasa TV

Rising Teledrama Actor of the Year: Yash Weerasinghe of Sirasa TV’s Aaley

Rising Teledrama Actress of the Year: Suhandi Wosadi of Sirasa TV’s Aaley

Most Popular Political Program of the Year: Satana of Sirasa TV

Youth Television Channel of the Year: Sirasa TV

Most Popular Radio Station of the Year: Sirasa FM

Sirasa TV also won the award for Best Educational Program Broadcast of the Year.

Sirasa TV’s Asoka Dias received the Media Service Excellence Award.

The internationally acclaimed reality show, The Voice Sri Lanka, aired on Sirasa TV, was also recognized.
