FCID Arrests Johnston Fernando’s Son

COLOMBO (News 1st); Johann Fernando, the son of former Minister Johnston Fernando, has been arrested on allegations of misusing state property.

Police said the arrest was made by the Financial Crimes Investigation Division (FCID) during a raid in Kumbukwewa, Ibbagamuwa. 

The suspect is accused of deploying a lorry belonging to Sathosa, the state-owned retail network, for private business purposes.
