Shakthi Crown stands as a true reflection of this spirit, a global platform created to elevate both Sri Lankan and international youth onto an international stage.
Shakthi Crown, the reality music show that offers aspiring singers a gateway into the music industry, has earned overwhelming support from audiences across Sri Lanka and beyond. Following the resounding success of its inaugural season, Shakthi Crown Season 02 was launched, raising the bar for reality television and musical excellence.
Building on the legacy of iconic programmes such as Shakthi Isai Ilavarasargal, Shakthi Super Star, and Shakthi Junior Super Star, Shakthi Crown introduced a fresh, contemporary experience for global music lovers.
Yesterday, The Shakthi Crown Season Two Grand Finale marked a new milestone in Sri Lanka’s reality television history.
From nearly 8,000 contestants representing Sri Lanka and the international stage, only six exceptional finalists advanced to the grand finale, showcasing extraordinary talent, discipline, and passion.
The Six finalists were:
T. Sivanujan – Colombo
R. Thashihaa – Jaffna
A. Emanualy – Mannar
S. Tharmitha – Mullaitivu
K. Sanjai – Talawakele
Highlighting the truly global nature of the competition, international contestants from Malaysia, the United Kingdom, and India brought intense competition and global musical diversity to the stage. Following a fiercely contested journey, Rithanyaa Umaravi from Chennai, India, stood as the international representative at the grand finale.
The finale was further electrified by the introduction of “Sri Pop”, a brand-new entertainment segment that has now become a trademark, blending modern rhythm, dance, and Sri Lankan musical identity in a way never seen before on local television.
After an intense battle at the grand finale, the finalists competed across two high-impact rounds, taking their artistry to true international standards.
Emerging victorious, R. Thashihaa from Jaffna was crowned Winner of Shakthi Crown Season 02.
K. Sanjai from Talawakele secured Second Place, while A. Emanualy from Mannar claimed Third Place.
Each finalist showcased not only exceptional individual talent but also reflected the rich cultural diversity and unity of Sri Lanka on a global stage.
More than just a competition, Shakthi Crown stands as an international platform presented by the Maharaja Media Network, dedicated to shaping the future of Sri Lanka’s youth.
