Suspect Arrested in Panadura With A Stock of Heroin Worth Over Rs. 1 Million

COLOMBO (News 1st): A suspect has been arrested in Wekada, Panadura with a stock of heroin valued at over Rs. 1 million.

The arrest was made during an operation conducted by the Panadura South Police.

Police also recovered five mobile phones in the suspect's possession, which are suspected to have been used for drug trafficking.

The suspect was produced before the Panadura Magistrate's Court yesterday and was ordered to be remanded for 14 days.
