Two Upcountry Trains Cancelled Today

COLOMBO(News 1st); The Department of Railways has announced that two train services scheduled on the Upcountry route today have been cancelled.

According to the department, the train leaving Colombo Fort at 9.45 am and the train departing from Badulla to Colombo at 10.20 am have both been cancelled.

Meanwhile, train services that were disrupted due to a landslide between Idalgashinna and Ohiya, which caused a train to derail, have now resumed normal operations.
