Train Services Restored On Upcountry Route

COLOMBO(News 1st); Train services on the Upcountry route have been restored.

The Department of Railways stated that the night mail train will run from Colombo Fort to Badulla at 8.30 pm tonight.

The night mail train that will depart from Badulla at 6.30 pm has also been added to the usual schedule today.

However, the train that will depart from Colombo Fort at 9.45 am tomorrow will not run tomorrow.

The Railway Department stated that the train that will depart from Badulla to Colombo at 10.20 am tomorrow has also been canceled.

The Department of Railways says that other trains on the Upcountry route will operate as normal.
