Suspect Accused of Long-Term Drug Ingestion Arrested

COLOMBO (News 1st); Police have arrested three suspects aged 67, 45, and 28 in Dematagoda during a special raid carried out by the Dematagoda Police based on intelligence received from the Western Province Intelligence Division.

Authorities confirmed that the suspects were in possession of over 2 grams of heroin at the time of arrest.

Investigators revealed that the 67-year-old suspect has been engaged in ingesting heroin for a long period.
