5 Dead, 25+ Injured in Fatal Bus Crash In Thalawa

COLOMBO (News 1st); A road accident at the Jayaganga Junction in Thalawa has left five people dead and more than 25 others injured, according to police and hospital sources.

The incident occurred when a private passenger bus traveling from the 411 area towards Thalawa veered off course and crashed.

The bus was reportedly carrying over 40 passengers at the time of the accident.
