Six Police Teams Deployed to Investigate Kotahena Shooting

COLOMBO (News 1st); Police say six teams have been deployed to investigate the fatal shooting of a 43-year-old man in Kotahena last night.

The victim, reportedly an associate of organized crime gang member Kanjipani Imran, was shot by a group that arrived in a car and fled the scene.

He was admitted to the National Hospital but later succumbed to his injuries.

Police confirmed that no suspects have been arrested so far and that investigations are continuing.
