Over 1,000 Arrested in ‘A Nation United’ Drug Crackdown as Police Seize Heroin and ICE Across Sri Lanka

COLOMBO (News 1st); Over 1,000 Arrested Under 'A Nation United' Operation As Drug Crackdown Intensifies

1,087 additional suspects in the ongoing crackdown on narcotics have been arrested under the “Nation United” operation.

During the raids, police recovered 416 grams of heroin and 583 grams of Crystal Methamphetamine (ICE).

Eleven suspects have been received detention orders, while sixteen others have been referred for rehabilitation.

The islandwide “Nation United” operation Launched on the 30th of October, aims to completely eradicate the drug menace across Sri Lanka.
