Admission Cards Issued for 2025 A/L and General Information Technology Examinations

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Department of Examinations says that admission cards for the 2025 G.C.E. Advanced Level and General Information Technology (GIT) examinations have been sent to all Zonal Education Offices.

Commissioner General of Examinations Indika Kumari Liyanage stated that all principals should collect the admission cards relevant to their schools from the Deputy or Assistant Director of Education (Examinations) at their respective zonal offices.

The Department further announced that private candidates sitting for the G.C.E. Advanced Level examination will receive their admission cards by post, sent directly to their personal mailing addresses.

The Commissioner General also said that if there are any corrections to be made regarding candidate names, subjects, or mediums, such changes can be made through the official website.
All corrections must be completed by October 31.

The 2025 G.C.E. Advanced Level Examination will be held from November 10 to December 5, across 2,362 examination centers islandwide.

The General Information Technology (GIT) Examination is scheduled for December 6, and will be conducted at 1,665 examination centers.
