Gunaratne Wanninayake Released on Bail

COLOMBO (News 1st); Attorney-at-Law  Gunaratne Wanninayake was released on bail today (15) by the Mount Lavinia Magistrate’s Court.

He was granted bail on two sureties of Rs. 500,000 each.

The decision comes amid ongoing legal proceedings related to an incident where Wanninayake is accused of obstructing a police officer’s duties on court premises.

Attorney-at-Law Gunaratne Wanninayake appeared before the Mount Lavinia Magistrate’s Court this afternoon, accompanied by Sri Lanka Bar Association President Rajeev Amarasuriya.
