Foreign National Arrested With Suspicious Chemicals In Weligama

COLOMBO (News 1st): A foreign national has been arrested in Salmal Uyana, Weligama.
Police said the suspect, who is a Moldovian national was arrested with a stock of suspicious chemical substances in his possession.
According to police, the Moldovian National had been residing in a rented house in the area.
The purpose of the chemical substances in his possession, has not yet been determined.
Police added that the Government Analyst will conduct an investigation into the substances.
Further investigstions into the suspect and the chemical substances are underway.
