New Courts to Fast-Track Bribery, Corruption Trials

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption has announced the establishment of two new High Courts dedicated to handling bribery and corruption-related cases.

Director General of the Commission, Ranga Dissanayake, made the announcement during his appearance on the Mawatha Vidwath Kathikawa program broadcast on Sirasa TV last night. 

He stated that one of the new courts is scheduled to be operational by next week.
