COLOMBO (News 1st); The results of the 2025 Grade 5 Scholarship Examination were officially released at midnight yesterday (03).
The Department of Examinations announced that the results can be accessed via its official websites: www.doenets.lk
and www.results.exams.gov.lk.
In addition to the results, the Department has also issued the district cut-off marks.
For Sinhala medium candidates, the cut-off mark for the Colombo District has been fixed at 140.
The same cut-off applies to the Gampaha, Kalutara, Kandy, Matale, Galle, Matara, Kurunegala, and Kegalle Districts.
The Sinhala medium cut-off for the Ratnapura District has been set at 136, while for the Hambantota District it is 135.
For the Badulla and Monaragala Districts, the cut-off mark is 134, and for Puttalam, Anuradhapura, Polonnaruwa, Trincomalee, and Ampara Districts, it stands at 133.
In the Nuwara Eliya District, the cut-off mark is 132, while the lowest Sinhala medium cut-off this year has been recorded at 127, applicable to Kilinochchi, Mannar, Vavuniya, Mullaitivu, and Batticaloa Districts.
Meanwhile, for the Tamil medium, only the cut-off mark for the Jaffna District has been released, which is 132.
The 2025 Grade 5 Scholarship Examination was conducted on August 10, at 2,787 examination centres across the country, with a total of 303,670 students sitting for the examination.
