Rs. 100M Mansion Seized from Infamous Drug Lord

COLOMBO (News 1st); Authorities have seized a luxury four-storey building valued at approximately Rs. 100 million, allegedly owned by Ruwan Chamila Prasanna, widely known as Dematagoda Ruwan, a figure long associated with large-scale drug trafficking and organized crime.

The seizure was carried out under Section 7 of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act, following an extensive investigation by the Illegal Assets Investigation Division of the Organized Crime Assets Unit.

Dematagoda Ruwan is currently facing multiple court cases across several jurisdictions, including charges related to drug trafficking and contract killings.
