Bell 412 Deployed To Douse Wildfire In Raththanagolla

COLOMBO (News 1st); On the directive of the Ministry of Defence and upon a request by the Disaster Management Centre, a Bell 412 from No. 4 Squadron, SLAF Base Ratmalana, was deployed today for Bambi Bucket operations to douse a wildfire in Raththanagolla, Imbulpe–Balangoda.

Operations are still ongoing while water is sourced from the Samanalawewa Reservoir to douse the fire.
