COLOMBO (News 1st): The 'Anti-Pyramid National Awareness Week' will begin tomorrow under the theme “අහෝ දුකකි - පිරමීඩ උඟුලකි”, which loosely translates to “Pyramid is a trap – don't get into the wrong track.”

Organized by the Financial Consumer Relations Department of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka, the initiative aims to raise public awareness about financial fraud and safeguard the country’s financial system.

The campaign will target a wide audience, including school students, teachers, members of the tri-forces, civil security officers, police officers, and government employees.

Awareness activities will be conducted in 6,172 schools and 14,022 Grama Niladhari divisions nationwide.

The week-long program will run until the 18th of this month.
