Dengue Prevention Week Begins in High-Risk Areas

COLOMBO (News 1st) -Dengue Prevention Week commenced today, targetting high-risk MOH divisions across the country.

The National Dengue Control Unit announced that inspections will be carried out at a wide range of premises, including homes, schools, and public spaces, to detect and eliminate potential mosquito breeding grounds.

So far this year, over 19,000 dengue cases have been reported, along with seven confirmed deaths.
