Restructuring of 312 Primary Schools Begins

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The restructuring of 312 primary schools across the island has officially commenced, marking the first step in the comprehensive education reform process set to be implemented in 2026.

A special discussion on the initiative was held under the patronage of Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya.

The reform plans are being developed by the Policy and Planning Division of the Ministry of Education.
