Sri Lanka Opens Doors to Salt Imports Until June 10

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Sri Lankan Cabinet has granted special approval to temporarily relax restrictions on salt imports, allowing salt to be brought into the country until June 10, 2025.

The decision, made during the Cabinet meeting held on May 15, comes in response to widespread consumer complaints over shortages.
