Kotmale Tragedy: Funds Released To Support Families

COLOMBO (News 1st); Following the tragic bus accident in the Garandiella area of Kotmale, President Anura Kumara Dissanayake has directed the allocation of funds from the President’s Fund to support the families of the victims. 

The funds have been forwarded to the relevant Divisional Secretariats.

Each family of the individuals who lost their lives in the accident will receive Rs. 1 million. 

The funds have been distributed to the Divisional Secretariats in the following areas: 

Tissamaharama, Lunugamvehera, Welimada, Haldummulla, Ella, Kundasale, Bamunakotuwa, Paduwasnuwara West, Polpithigama, Wanathawilluwa, Chilaw, Buttala, Thanamalwila, Wellawaya, Kanthale, and Rambewa.
