Boossa Prison Jailer Granted Bail in Ganemulla Sanjeewa Murder

COLOMBO (News 1st): A jailer from the Boossa Prison, who was remanded in connection with the Ganemulla Sanjeewa murder case, has been released on bail. 

The decision was made during a hearing at the Colombo High Court before Judge Manjula Thilakaratne.

The judge ordered the release of the suspect on two personal bails of Rs. 2.5 million each and a cash bail of Rs. 75,000, after considering the arguments presented by the defense counsel.

The jailer is the 13th suspect in the Ganemulla Sanjeewa murder case and was accused of aiding and abetting the murder.
