Former SLTB Chairman Arrested in Rajapaksa House Probe

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) has arrested L.A. Wimalaratne, the former Chairman of the Sri Lanka Transport Board (SLTB), in connection with an ongoing investigation into a house allegedly belonging to the Rajapaksa family in the Kataragama area.

The arrest took place in Kataragama, where CID officers detained Wimalaratne as part of their probe into the property.

The suspect is scheduled to be presented before the Tissamaharama Magistrate's Court.
