COLOMBO (News 1st0 - The Disaster Management Center states that the Sri Lankan team sent to Myanmar to assist those affected by the recent earthquake is scheduled to arrive in the island today.
The team, which left for Myanmar on the 5th, included a medical team, a rescue team, and a relief team.
An aid package, collected under the leadership of the three-denominational chief priests, was also transported on the same flight.
The earthquake that recently struck Myanmar claimed the lives of more than 3,700 people.
