Fugitive Police Chief's Assets Identified & Listed Amid Arrest Operation

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) has commenced the identification and listing of assets belonging to suspended Inspector General of Police (IGP) Deshabandu Tennakoon. 

Multiple teams have been deployed to carry out this task, according to police sources.

In addition, a joint operation has been launched under the direct supervision of the Acting IGP to arrest Deshabandu Tennakoon, who is currently evading capture. Intelligence units are providing support for this operation.

The police have confirmed that individuals aiding Tennakoon in evading arrest will also be taken into custody.
