Ministry of Agriculture Launches National Program to Cultivate Unutilized Lands

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock says a national program aimed at cultivating all unutilized lands across the country, will be launched today. 

Deputy Minister Namal Karunaratne said that the initiative has been named 'Eka Mitata Govi Bima'. 

He said that steps will be taken to identify and cultivate unutilized lands across the island under this program.
