Three Arrested in Ambalantota Triple Homicide Remanded

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Three suspects arrested in connection with the brutal murder of three people in Ambalantota have been remanded until February 13th. 

The suspects were produced before the Hambantota Magistrate's Court today.

In addition to the three suspects, a 13-year-old child, also arrested in connection with the incident, has been ordered to be placed on probation by the Magistrate.

The three victims were killed last Sunday in a violent clash between two groups of illicit liquor smugglers, where sharp weapons were used in the attack.
