Police Investigate Triple Homicide in Ambalantota

COLOMBO (News 1st); Three individuals were killed following an attack with sharp weapons in Ambalantota on Sunday (2) night.

According to police reports, the altercation occurred between two groups of illegal liquor peddlers.

A group of six individuals arrived at the scene and carried out the fatal stabbings. The bodies of the deceased were placed in the mortuary of Ambalantota Hospital.

The exact motive behind the killings remains unknown as investigations continue.
