COLOMBO (News 1st): A stock of illegal pesticides worth approximately 50 million rupees has been seized by the Sri Lanka in Jaffna.
The Army said that the stock of pesticides was seized during an operation carried out jointly by the Jaffna Military Intelligence Corps and the Police Special Task Force.
It is reported that this is the largest stock of illegal pesticides ever seized in the Northern Province.
Three suspects were also arrested during the raid.
